Butterfly Valve

The PTFE Lined BFV is designed specifically for use in chemically aggressive applications such as acids, chlorine, and alkalis. The single piece stem and disc design eliminates crevice corrosion and ensures reliability and durability in applications for corrosive fluids. The PTFE lined BFV is suitable for bidirectional shut-off or dead-end service applications.

  • PTFE coated or polished 316SS disc
  • 316SS shaft, welded to disc
  • PTFE seat with Viton backer
  • -20°C to 180°C (0°F to 350°F ) standard temperature rating
  • 2”-6”=232psi / 8”-12”=150psi / 14”- 24”=125psi standard pressure ratings
  • ASME B16.5 Class 150 flange pattern
  • Meets API 609 design requirements

  • PTFE seat materials with various backers including BUNA-N, EPDM, or Aflas for process compatibility
