Knife Gate Valve

The E5600 High Performance KGV is specifically designed for the pulp & paper, mining, oil & gas, and power generation industries. The perimeter seat and dual transverse seal design ensures reliable, bidirectional shut-off in applications such as slurries, dry materials, gases, and corrosive fluids. The E5600 can be configured and customized for many types of severe service and aggressive process applications.

  • Grease fitting on handwheel bearing reduces operating torques

  • Standard WCB with black oxide finish or 316SS body
  • Polished 316SS gate
  • 304SS stem with rolled ACME threads
  • Heavy duty yoke with safety screens
  • Aflas resilient seat
  • Aflas transverse seals with phenolic scrapers and PTFE energizer
  • Pressure rating per ASME Class 150
  • ASME B16.5 flange pattern (alternate flange patterns available on request)
  • Meets MSS SP-135 design requirements
  • Canadian CRN

Options & Accessories

  • High alloy body materials such as 317SS, 2205SS, 2507SS, or titanium for improved corrosion resistance
  • High alloy or hardened seat ring and gates including 317SS, 2205SS, 2507SS, RC50, Inconel 625, 17-4PH, or titanium for improved corrosion and wear resistance
  • Alternate seat materials including Viton, or EPDM for process compatibility
  • Specialty gate and body coatings including Needox, Xylan, and hard chrome for improved corrosion and wear resistance
  • Double block and bleed variants available
